- Summary
- Set in rural France, Jean de Florette is the story of Jean Cadoret, a hunchback peasant who inherits a farm from his mother and strives to become a gentleman farmer. In Manon des sources, which is set ten years later, Jean\u0027s daughter determines to take revenge upon the men responsible for the death of her father.
