Summary

In the first portion of this video, recorded at the Friars' Club, the Drama Desk nominations for the 1996-7 theatrical season are announced. After introductory remarks by the Friars' Club Abbot Alan King, and David Sheward, President of the Drama Desk, the nominations are announced by actors Michael Nouri and Julie Harris.
The second portion of this video consists of the 42nd Annual Drama Desk Awards show, held at the Booth Theatre.
