- Summary
- Documentary on Masterworks Laboratory Theatre, and its artistic director, Walt Witcover, as the theater troupe rehearses and performs a modern dress version of Mozart's Don Giovanni. Witcover discusses some of the choices made in adapting the 18th century opera to 20th century America. In rehearsal, we observe as actors make suggestions concerning staging and props. Footage of the rehearsal process is contrasted with the finished production.
