Summary
Panel discussion on the experiences of working actors, touching on such topics as getting started in show business, auditions, switching from the stage to film and back again, etc. Hines and Pinkins talk about their experiences in the current musical Jelly's last jam. Arnaz examines the pros and cons of taking a replacement role in a long-running Broadway show, as she is doing in Neil Simon's Lost in Yonkers. Schneider tells how he was signed to appear as a regular on the television series The Dukes of Hazzard, and the subsequent challenge he faced convincing producers he could handle a very different sort of role in the stage musical Grand Hotel. Panelists also take questions from members of the audience.
