Summary

Panel discussion on the experiences of working actors, touching on such topics as preparation for a role, stage fright, learning from failure, audiences and how they differ, and related topics. Petula Clark and David Cassidy, who co-star in the Broadway production of Blood brothers, discuss their work in that show. Julie Harris talks about her early days on Broadway in Carson McCullers' The member of the wedding. Joe Mantello and Stephen Spinella, who both appear in Tony Kushner's two-part drama Angels in America, discuss that experience. Jeff Hyslop talks about the musical Kiss of the spider woman, in which he currently appears. Panelists also take questions from members of the audience.
