- Television executive June M. Baldwin graduated from Stanford University with her B.A. degree in psychology. She received her J.D. degree from Harvard Law School in 1975. Baldwin served as clerk for the jurist Luther Swygert in Chicago, and was then hired as an executive for NBC, where she became one of the first African Americans to enter the executive ranks of the entertainment industry. Baldwin went on to work for United Paramount Network, and then for Columbia TriStar Television until 2001. In 2004, she was hired as director of business and legal affairs at KCET, where she was promoted to vice president and general counsel in 2010. Baldwin worked on Auschwitz: Inside the Nazi State, A Place of Our Own, Los Ninos En Su Casa, Wired Science, SoCal Connected, and Tavis Smiley. She was formerly chair of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation's Educational, Program and Services Committee.
