The central illustration depicts the scarecrow and tin woodman facing each other as the tin woodman "oils" the scarecrow's arm.
Biography
Townsend Walsh (1872-1941), American theater press agent, business manager, drama critic, playwright and actor, was a collector of theatrical and circus memorabilia.
