- Color lithograph poster printed by the Carqueville Litho Company in Chicago advertises the publication of L. Frank Baum's book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Illustrated by W. W. Denslow, the Scarecrow and the Tin Woodman are shown seated, slightly facing each other, and holding hands, as on the interior title page of the book.

- Townsend Walsh (1872-1941), American theater press agent, business manager, drama critic, playwright and actor, was a collector of theatrical and circus memorabilia.
