Kaufman documenting the original Broadway production at the Music Box Theatre and subsequent regional, amateur, college, and university productions across the United States. Of note is a 1941 production at the Cape Playhouse (Dennis, Mass.) starring Moss Hart and a 1941 production at the Bucks County Playhouse (New Hope, Pa.) starring George S. Kaufman, Moss Hart, and Harpo Marx.
