- About two dozen playbills and programs (1925 - 1939) for Lysistrata by Aristophanes, mainly documenting performances of Gilbert Seldes's adaptation, with music by Leo Ornstein and choreography by Doris Humphrey and Charles Weidman, featuring Fay Bainter, Sydney Greenstreet, Miriam Hopkins, and José Limón in his Broadway debut. Includes a 1926 production at Jolson's Theatre by the Moscow Art Theatre Musical Studio, adapted in Russian by Dmitry Smolin, with music by Reinhold Glière; a 1930 production at the Théâtre du Parc (Geneva, Switzerland), adapted in French by Maurice Donnay; two productions of the Seldes translation by the Chamberlain Brown Players, featuring Jean Arthur and Nance O'Neill, respectively; a 1938 production of Benjamin Bickley Rogers's translation in the Open Air Theatre at Regent's Park (London).
