- Summary
- Primarily costume designs in watercolor, some with notes and fabric swatches attached, for the ballets Pillar of Fire (18) and Undertow (11); also a small watercolor design and a folder of fabric swatches for The Divine Horsemen; a pencil rendering of backdrop and arches for Gala Performance, scaled for use in the scene shop; and six matted costume designs for unidentified productions. Date information from mailing envelope addressed to choreographer Antony Tudor in Sydney, Australia in 1969, which Laing used to send him the Pillar of Fire designs. Laing was the set and costume designer for the premiere of Divine Horsemen, also in Sydney in 1969.
