- Bertram Ross discusses with Billie Mahoney his upcoming solo performances at Riverside Church as part of the Riverside Dance Festival including works, Raymond [Duncan], Gordon Craig, Uncle Vanya: Three Pastels, My Last Duchess; attending Brooklyn Academy of Music performances as a child and seeing his favorite group, Jooss Ballet; his love for Fred Astaire and Ginger Roger movies; creating a review show for the Women's Army Corps (WAC) which helped him to become a dancer; calling the Martha Graham studio and making appointment with Erick Hawkins; auditioning for the Broadway show, Chicago, and the difference between auditioning for Broadway and Modern dance. Bertram Ross discusses with Phil Schapiro how his one man show was developed; how he created the works through experimentation; Ross being told by his manager to do a one man show; story about Martha Graham after a college performance of Every Souls a Circus. Interview with Nick Yanni begins with John Wallowitch playing a prelude from Ross' Uncle Vanya; and Ross talks about his favorite Graham work, Canticle for Innocent Comedians.
