- Summary
- Cy Feuer, a theatre producer and director, and half of the celebrated producing duo Feuer and Martin, speaks about Frank Loesser, songwriter who wrote the lyrics and music to the Broadway hits "Where is Charley", "Guys and Dolls", and "How to succeed In business without really trying," and who also became a shrewd businessman who built his own publishing house. Eddie Martin joins in, and together he and Feuer recollect stories from Loesser's flourishing career, his hot temperament and his outbursts, many funny incidents from their long collaboration, Loesser's strange work habits, the easiness with which he wrote and composed, his insistence on perfection, his commitment to his work, and his death from lung cancer as a result of years of chain-smoking.
