- One ink and wash drawing with six figures, signed, dated and titled De School Jongens (schoolboys), also includes the handwritten text: Like jellyfish on a beach, they soil the horizon as well as some graffiti-like writing in Dutch. This ballet, which portrayed a young man struggling with his gay identity, was premiered by the Dutch National Ballet and performed internationally by many other companies including the American Ballet Theatre and the Boston Ballet. Choreographed by Rudi van Dantzig, his longtime partner, Toer van Schajik, was the set and costume designer as well as dancer and muse.
