Covering title for the presentation of three one-act musicals: The Diary of Adam and Eve (Adaptation of a short story by Mark Twain), The Lady or the Tiger? (Adaptation of a short story by Frank R. Stockton) and Passionella (Adaptation of a cartoon by Jules Feiffer). Book by Sheldon Harnick, Jerry Bock and Jerome Coopersmith. Music by Bock. Lyrics by Harnick. The pre-production working title of this musical was Come Back! Go Away! I Love You, which included an adaptation of Bruce Jay Friedman's story Show Biz Connections, instead of the Feiffer piece. Also being considered for adaptation were Guy de Maupassant's Boule de Suif, Nathaniel Hawthorne's Young Goodman Brown, Bernard Malamud's Angel Levine and Marcel Ayme's Martin, The Novelist.
