- Summary
- Design for a front curtain? At the center of the image is a room interior, the contents of which include Punch's club and the cradle for Judy's baby. The room is surrounded by a proscenium with doors on either side, above which are Punch motifs in bas-relief. Demonic figures flank the proscenium, gazing with unsettling intensity at the untenanted room, while a moon with a human face looks on in consternation.
