- Set designs for a revival of Antony Tudor's ballet Gala performance (music, Sergei Prokofiev). Dancer Hugh Laing, 1911-1988, had danced in this ballet's first performance in London in 1938, as well as its Ballet Theatre premiere in 1941. In 1970 he designed costumes for a revival by the Royal Danish Ballet. He designed sets and costumes as well as supervising the ballet's revival by American Ballet Theatre, first presented in California in Dec. 1987. These maquettes may have been created for that production.
