- Summary
- Documentary on performer Al Jolson, focusing on his two visits to Galesburg, Illinois, in 1909 and in 1917. On the first occasion he was a member of Lew Dockstader's troupe of blackface minstrels. On the second occasion, he was the star of the touring production of the musical comedy Robinson Crusoe, Jr., staged at Galesburg's Orpheum Theatre, where this show was taped.
