- Summary
- In 2005, Taipei National University of the Arts presented "Retrieving the Dancing Path -- Nijinsky's L'ap̀res-midi d'un faune". Among the guests of honor were Ann Hutchinson Guest, Labanotation master; Ivor Guest, dance historian; Nijinsky's daughter Tamara Nijinsky, and granddaughter Kinga Nijinsky Gaspers. It was the premiere of this historic dance in Asia. As a result, the Nijinsky Foundation officially announced that the restaging of L'ap̀res-midi d'un faune by TNUA is the most representative version worldwide, and that Professor Yunyu Wang is the best interpreter of this masterpiece. This documentary provides first-hand accounts and detailed interviews which reveal the historical and artistic value of this project.
