  • An extravaganza in nine scenes translated by Max Hayward. Two lives were saved after the wild wedding party in Tambov in 1929 - Skripkin and a bedbug. They were alive, but frozen, for nearly 50 years. The crowds that flocked to see them after their defrigeration were shocked and revolted, not so much by the bedbug, but by the man.
