- Gillian Lynne (choreographer/dancer) discusses her childhood, and career as a dancer, choreographer, actress; dancing with the Sadler's Wells Ballet and at the London Palladium; acting in a movie with Errol Flynn; creating 14 mime roles for the BBC's Peter and the wolf; her break through work during the 1963 Edinburgh Festival; working with David Merrick on her first two Broadway shows entitled, The roar of the greasepaint-the smell of the crowd and Pickwick; choreographing her first international musical film in England entitled, Half a sixpence; experiences working on the musical movies, Man of La Mancha with Peter O'Toole and Sophia Loren and Barbra Streisand's Yentl; the process involved when creating Cats and Phantom of the opera with Andrew Lloyd Webber; currently working on the Broadway show, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang; and concludes with Keith Baxter telling a story about working with Elizabeth Taylor in the movie, Ash wednesday.
