Summary
Excerpt clips: 1. Act I: Alexandra Daniels and her travelling companions Chen Qing and Erik Magnussen encounter an agrarian society in "Agricultural Community." 2. Act II: Expedition member Chen Qing encounters a spirit in "Hungry Ghost." 3. Act II: Alexandra Daniels, her expedition members, and locals (entire ensemble) mingle in the "Arctic Bar." 4. Act II: Expedition member Franco Hartmann encounters Ice Demons. 5. Act II: The Spirit Guides perform the "Desert Tango." 6. Act II: Gwen St. Clair's solo in "Desert Tango" gives way to the expedition members' hardships on the desert, and Erik Magnussen's "Treachery (Temptation)." 7. Act II: Alexandra Daniels and her remaining expedition members fail in their efforts to persuade Erik Magnussen to escape with them from "The Possibility of Destruction."
