Summary
Nikolaj Hübbe discusses the creation of the work Bournonville variations, August Bournonville's technique and when it was codified, Mr. Hübbe's background and career with the Royal Danish Ballet (RDB), how he came to New York City Ballet (NYCB) and his career dancing with NYCB, the differences between RDB and NYCB beginning with government funding and pensions, bringing RDB into the present, and concludes with a talk about the RDB's upcoming U.S. tour and what they are performing.
