From ca. 3:30 min. of track 11, Paul and Nimura record a formal interview. The handwritten notes in the original container read "Recording at Studio 60. Voice of America about Lute song. Mr. Sidney Paul. March 24th, 1959."
  • Disc 2: Gemze De Lappe, her friend (Jemedy? De La Cruz), and Yeichi Nimura engage in an informal conversation regarding filming devices and Nimura's ideas for a motion picture project. From ca. 1:45 min. of track 10, Nimura speaks with an unidentified male regarding mortgage (?).
  • The sound quality is poor to fair on tracks 1-5 of disc 1. The noise from the street is very loud, and some parts of the conversation are not intelligible. The sound quality in the rest of the tracks on disc 1 is good. The sound quality in disc 2 is good.
