He speaks before an audience on the stage of Philadelphia's Wilma Theater, on the set of his new play Leaving, his first dramatic work since his retirement from politics. He discusses the origins of this new play, his earlier play The conspirators, and the playwright's impact on the larger culture and society. He also examines democracy, political power, and leadership.
