• A night in Venice [excerpts] (4 min., col.) / recorded in open-air performance at Jones Beach Marine Theatre, Long Island, N.Y., in summer 1953 ; produced by Michael Todd ; staged by Samuel Liff ; choreography, James Nygren ; scenery and costumes, Raoul Pène du Bois ; cast led by Jack Russell and Nola Fairbanks. A musical extravaganza with score by Johann Strauss, book and lyrics by Ruth and Thomas Martin, this show inaugurated the Marine Theatre in 1952 and played a second season in 1953. The stage is an island in a lagoon, which separates it from the audience's grandstand. First 30 sec. of recording are very dark. Wide shot of very brief excerpts, interspersed with views of fireworks. Yeichi Nimura performed in a musical of this title at the Schubert Theatre in New York City in 1928, but this is probably a different production.

• Carmen [excerpts] (2 min., col.) / recorded in performance at the Broadway Theatre, New York City, in January or February 1954 ; choreography, Roland Petit ; scenery and costumes, Antoni Clavé ; danced by the Ballets de Paris Roland Petit ; danced by Colette Marchand (Carmen), Roland Petit (Don Jose), Serge Perreault (the Toreador), and others.
• Kismet [excerpts] (1 min., b&w) / recorded in performance, probably at the Ziegfeld Theatre, New York City, in 1954; directed by Albert Marre ; choreography and musical staging, Jack Cole ; scenery and costumes, Lemuel Ayers. The cast was led by Alfred Drake, Doretta Morrow, and Joan Diener. Beatrice Kraft, who played Princess Samaris of Bangalore in the Presentation of princesses (Act II, scene 6), is seen dancing a solo in the Bharata natyam technique of India.
• Le loup [excerpts] (1:30 min., col.) / recorded in performance at the Broadway Theatre, New York City, in January or February 1954 ; choreography, Roland Petit ; scenery and costumes, Carzou ; danced by the Ballets de Paris Roland Petit ; danced by Violette Verdy (the Girl), Jose Ferran (the Wolf), George Reich (the Young Man), and others. This footage is out of focus.

• Queen of the air pas de deux from Homage to the queen [excerpts] (2 min., b&w) / telecast on Toast of the town, CBS-TV, on January 24, 1954 ; choreography, Frederick Ashton ; danced by Margot Fonteyn and Michael Somes of the Sadler's Wells Ballet. At the end of the pas de deux, the dancers appear with host Ed Sullivan and Ashton. Copied from a television screen; poor focus.
