- [Begins abruptly.] Ruth St. Denis speaks to a class at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, including the advice she gave Ted Shawn upon (or shortly after) the founding of Jacob's Pillow; various spiritual and visionary aspects of being an artist, in dance and other arts; the human body as an instrument; [the sound quality in tracks 8-10 is very poor and St. Denis is frequently unintelligible. St. Denis seems to speaking about costume for dance, in particular use of the veil; ends abruptly].
