  • Disc one discusses Robert Pagent's childhood in Gary Indiana; his background in music and theater; his first dance classes and teaching ballroom dance; going to Chicago for dance performances including Bernice Holmes concert; studying with Bernice Holmes and Laurent Novakoff?; his experience spending the summer with Ruth Page at her estate rehearsing a new dance entitled, An American in Paris; joining the Chicago Opera Ballet; auditioning for Leonide Massine and joining his Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo; his name changes including birthname Robert Weisser, Anton Vlasoff and Robert Pagent; his career dancing with the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo from 1936 until Hilter invaded Poland in 1939; being stranded in Europe with no way to recieve money from the U.S.; taking the last ship out of France for a 21 day trip to New York.
  • Disc two discusses Colonel [Vassily] de Basil, Sol Hurok, David Lichine, Leonide Massine, Alexandre Danilova, and Marc Platoff; his return from the Australian tour with Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo; joining the AGMA union which created better working conditions and wages for all of the company members; the problems arising when Colonel De Basil dropped the union contract while in Cuba and 16 dancers protested by refusing to dance; leaving the Original Ballet Russe company and subsequently joining Leonide Massines new company still entitled Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo; his experience working with Agnes De Mille in Rodeo, Oklahoma, One touch of Venus and Carousel; working with Jerome Robbins in Call me madam and Miss Liberty.
  • Disc three discusses his last original show on Broadway by Jerome Robbins entited Two's company which starred Bette Davis; a breakdown of the Roundabout section, including the costumes and the dance; how Bette Davis and Jerome Robbins interacted; description of Ms. Davis' opening scene only performed on opening night in Detroit and subsequently never performed again; being Jerome Robbins assistant for Tenderland; his television work from Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo in London to New York as a dancer and choreographer; choreographing for Nureyev and Maria Tallchief on the Bell Telephone Hour; and the recent revival of One touch of Venus.
