- Description
- 1 videocassette (90 min.) : sd., b&w.; 1/2 in.
- Summary
- A sensuous but bored provincial wife attempts to find love and a more meaningful life in an adulterous relationship with a younger man. Truffaut called the film "the first night of love in the cinema." The film's guiltless treatment of an illicit affair, however, caused a furor of protest and censorship upon its release. It also made an international star of Jeanne Moreau.
