Summary
Portrays the courage of the British people as decisive factors in repelling the World War II invasion attempt by German forces. Uses Axis footage and maps to outline the German plan to gain air control, bombard English coastal cities, cross the Channel from France, and surround London. Shows the preparation of British society in manufacturing munitions, building defenses, training for ground fighting and preparing air raid shelters. Includes a prologue by Winston Churchill.
