- Summary
- The third in a series of four programs devoted to the life and career of Katharine Hepburn. Performer/author Katharine Houghton, who is also Hepburn's niece, shares memories of her aunt and reads from her aunt's journal with producer/director Charlotte Moore, who also knew Hepburn. The journal covers the 1950-51 national tour of Shakespeare's As you like it, in which Hepburn also performed on Broadway. Houghton discusses Hepburn's family, especially her mother, her close friends such as Constance Collier, and her social activism. During the question and answer session that concludes the program Houghton also discusses the 1967 film Guess who's coming to dinner, in which she appeared with her aunt.
