- Image depicts New York City Ballet dancers in the final pose from George Balanchine's ballet Symphony in three movements. Twenty-four female dancers stand and kneel, some with their arms straight up, some with their arms extended to the sides. In front of them eight male dancers pose in a crouched position, resting on their palms, looking forward. The costumes consist of practice clothes: belted leotards on the women and white shirts and black tights on the men.
