- Rehearsals of excerpts from the number "Mr. Monotony," originally intended for, but then later cut from, the Broadway musicals Miss Liberty (1949) and Call me madam (1950), in preparation for the musical retrospective Jerome Robbins' Broadway, which premiered in February 1989 at the Imperial Theatre, New York, N.Y. The sections rehearsed include "trombone," the pas de deux and the pas de trois.
