- This program, which begins with two minutes of rehearsal footage, includes a conversation with Canadian choreographer James Kudelka, interspersed with excerpts from two ballets he created for Les grands ballets canadiens, Private dances (Plaisirs solitaires) and Désir. Kudelka discusses his training at the National Ballet School of Canada, his career as a dancer at the National Ballet and Les grands ballets canadiens, and his switch to choreography. He also discusses his inspiration and selection of music for Private dances and Désir, and recalls working with Rudolf Nureyev.
