Summary
This program mostly consists of a concert of Jason Robert Brown songs from Parade, Songs for a New World, The moneyman, and Last five years, which was untitled at the time of this recording. During a brief conversation, the composer discusses his songwriting process, working with collaborators Harold Prince and Alfred Uhry on the Broadway production of Parade, and the experience of achieving such an unexpected degree of success while still in his twenties.
