Summary

The first segment, Oddballs and pratfalls, reports on an evening of dance and performance art to be presented by Dance Theater Workshop at New York City's Town Hall. Beverly Blossom, David Dorfman and Dan Froot, and Instant Girl appear in interviews and excerpts from the pieces they will perform: Blossom's Dad's ties; Dorfman and Froot's Bull, and other segments from Live sax acts; and Instant Girl's Tango and School dance. The second segment, Garden in stone, reports on the Isamu Noguchi Garden Museum in Long Island City and the Japanese garden at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Brief listings of current cultural events follow. The next segment reports on the artist Gene Pool and a show of artworks he organized to be displayed in the Crest Hardware Store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The final segment reports on Mary Cleere Haran's cabaret program celebrating the lyrics of Lorenz Hart.
