The Dutch section of the opera entitled the CIVIL warS by Robert Wilson, which premiered at Rotterdamse Schouwburg on September 6, 1983 and was conceived as a world-wide theater piece to be presented in conjunction with the Olympic games in Los Angeles in 1984.
