- Summary
- Compilation of television programming and commercials related primarily to the Australian, and to a lesser extent the American, production of the original Broadway musical A chorus line. At the time of broadcast, auditions for A chorus line had recently been held in Melbourne and Sydney. Tape includes introduction by Australian television host Mike Walsh to a promotional film about A chorus line; excerpts from the promotional featuring footage of American auditions for A chorus line; two television commercials featuring Walsh for the Australian production of A chorus line; three commercials for the American production of A chorus line, the first of which features Carol Burnett; excerpts featuring the Australian auditions for A chorus line from the promotional film; performance by Angela Agnes of the song What I did for love on the Mike Walsh show. Last several minutes of tape contain extraneous content.
