"Mr. Wilson has broken 'Lear' into 15 segments plus a prologue based on a poem by William Carlos Williams, 'The Last Words of My English Grandmother.' Fragments of the Williams' poem...bisect the play intermittently as a modern text" -- New York times. Three separate recordings of rehearsals for König Lear comprise Discs 1 and 2, Discs 3 and 4, and Discs 5 and 6, respectively. Robert Wilson is also shown directing.
