In the first part of this program, Robert Wilson describes his career, discussing his experiences with different types of art. He then discusses why he decided to create television work, his play KA MOUNTAIN AND GUARDenia TERRACE, working with the concept of time in various ways, and Christopher Knowles' influence on Stations. In the second part of the program, Wilson shares "the ideas I had in making this work" and sketches the symmetrical structure of Stations. He discusses various aspects of Stations' production process, including storyboarding, visual effects, and chroma keying. Footage from Stations is shown.
