Summary
Robert Wilson and David Byrne created The forest for the Theater der Freien Volksbühne in West Berlin. Presenting themes from the ancient story of Gilgamesh, Gilgamesh appears as a "nineteenth-century prince of industrialization." -- Robert Wilson's vision. This is a performance recording of the play as it was performed at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
