- 1 videodisc (80 min.) : sd., col.; 4 3/4 in.
- Summary
- Second part of a gala presented as part of a weeklong festival of tap dance classes and performances. Performance credits are listed as they appear on frame. The actual performance, which took place in two performing areas, proceeded in informal style, and the recording does not necessarily follow the sequence given. The dance numbers are interspersed with musical interludes and scenes of guests conversing, eating and drinking, and dancing informally. Producer Tony Waag gives brief speeches of acknowledgments. Tap master Ernest "Brownie" Brown performs an impromptu solo at ca. 75 min. into the recording. An informal challenge dance among five men closes the recording. For the first part of the gala, see *MGZIDVD 5-140 Tap City gala. Act One (The Duke).
