- Videocassette one (ca. 5 min.): Ten o'clock news, aired WNYW-TV, Channel 5, July 1, 1987. Theatrical producer Joseph Papp is interviewed by Judy Licht on the stage of the Delacorte Theater. Papp discusses the New York Shakespeare Festival's origins as a repertory company which performed at the Emmanuel Church on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, and its first performances in Central Park from a mobile theater. Includes brief rehearsal excerpt from the current production Richard II, which Papp is directing.

"New Yorkers celebrated the 25th anniversary of the opening of the Delacorte Theater, the New York Shakespeare Festival's permanent home in Central Park, at a party at Tavern on the Green tonight." Includes interview excerpts with Joseph Papp, Kevin Kline, Eli Wallach and Anne Jackson and brief performance footage featuring Elizabeth McGovern in the current NYSF production of Two gentlemen of Verona.

Coverage of the celebration for George Delacorte's 93rd birthday and the 25th anniversary of the theater named for him at Central Park's Tavern on the Green. Includes interview excerpt with Delacorte. Segment three. Ten o'clock news, Channel 5, aired WNYW-TV, July 29, 1987. "The 25th anniversary of the Delacorte Theater was marked by a special dinner at Tavern on the Green." Mayor Ed Koch and actor Eli Wallach attended.
