- Summary
- Promotional program devoted to Jerry Herman's musical comedy Hello, Dolly!, broadcast to coincide with the opening night of its 1995 Broadway revival. Carol Channing, who played the lead role when the show premiered in 1964, reprised the role in this revival. The program traces the history of the show and examines the careers of Herman and Channing, as well as several other performers who have participated in the show's various incarnations. Several members of the cast and crew of the revival are interviewed, as are a number of individuals associated with past productions.
