Summary
This program explains and demonstrates the training received by students in the Jacob's Pillow New vision for dance workshop. Director Lynn Simonson discusses the goals of the workshop, which focused on dancers' personal growth and developing a holistic view of dance. Dancers demonstrate ballet exercises directed by Jaclyyn Villamil, a jazz warmup and routines created by Lynn Simonson, and modern dance routines created by guest teacher Janie Brendel. At the end of the program the dancers introduce themselves and there is a question-and-answer session with the audience.
