Summary

Footage filmed during a tour of South America in 1954 by the José Limón Dance Company, under the auspices of the U.S. Dept. of State. At the beginning of the film, Limón is interviewed in Spanish; however, the audio is lost after slightly more than a minute. Costumed for Limón's Concerto grosso, Limón and the dancers Betty Jones and Ruth Currier are seen at a television studio. Limón's wife Pauline Lawrence is briefly glimpsed, talking to Jones. The three dancers examine a television camera, then visit the studio's stage. Before a curtained backdrop, they dance excerpts from Concerto grosso. In the final segment, the three present a lecture-demonstration in a dance studio.
