[Begins abruptly.] Ruth Currier speaks about first meeting and studying composition with Doris Humphrey; taking classes with José Limón; Humphrey's and Limón's working methods; Limón's work Missa brevis; the José Limón Dance Company's European tour and its effect on Limón's and Humphrey's relationship [ends abruptly].

Currier continues to speak about the European tour; her use of notation in learning works by Humphrey, including Shakers (Dance of the chosen) and in reviving them; Humphrey's method of reviving a work; whether it is possible to revive dances choreographed directly on Limón, such as Day on earth [interruption followed by resumption of interview]; Humphrey's work Invention; Humphrey's work Night spell, including its creation on Currier and Betty [Jones] and Humphrey's changing of its ending [ends abruptly].
