- Printed on one side of a strip formed from 10 joined sheets folded accordion-style, plus a colophon leaf; colophon leaf is attached to back board.
- Illustrations: 13 photomechanical prints : photogravure, b&w (10), hand col. (3) ; double-page (1), full-page (3) or smaller. "The plates for the thirteen photogravures ... were created by Jon Goodman and printed by Peter Pettengill. Three of these photogravured images were colored by hand by Ellen Phelan with the assistance of Kathy Grove"--Colophon. -- Accompanied by additional hand-colored photogravure, housed separately.
- Binding: Brown cloth boards trimmed in gold Japanese tea-chest paper; issued in a matching brown cloth clamshell case with title blind-embossed on spine. Accompanying print issued in off-white stiff paper portfolio.
