Summary
Jerome Robbins, assisted by ballet masters Susan Hendl and Victor Castelli, directs a rehearsal of Dances at a gathering. The rehearsal consists of a run-through, complete except for the last movement (Nocturne, op. 15, no. 1). Alternate casts rehearse at the back of the studio. There is discussion and repetition of some movements. Robbins gives corrections and discusses the importance of relationships between dancers in the ballet.
