Summary

Entrant in the Dance Films Association's 31st annual Dance on Camera Festival 2003. Documentary on a visit to Senegal in December 2001 by the dancers of the Ronald K. Brown/Evidence dance company. In interviews taped in New York City before and after the trip, the dancers discuss their backgrounds, aims, hopes, and expectations, and later their actual experiences in Senegal. Footage taped in Africa includes glimpses of a dance class with Senegalese dancers.
